Do I need Canva experience?
Not at all. The template is designed to be easy to personalise with your own photos and text. You can use a free Canva account, and your purchase includes tutorials to help you get started.
What if I don’t know what to write?
You don’t need to be a great writer. Every prompt is designed to help you think of the little things you love about your child, the memories you’ve made and the words you want them to always know. There are guides and examples throughout to help you get started.
Do I have to complete every page?
No. Choose the pages and prompts that suit your child. You can delete anything that doesn’t feel relevant, duplicate your favourites and add more photo pages if you prefer.
Can other family members contribute?
Absolutely. There’s a page for messages from the special people in your child’s life, so grandparents, siblings, family members or friends can contribute too.
What age is this book for?
It’s designed to work across childhood, whether you’re creating it for a younger child, an older child or even looking back over several years of memories. Simply choose the prompts and photos that suit your child and your story.
Do I need to print it?
No. You can keep or share the completed book digitally, although printing turns it into a physical keepsake your child can hold onto. Printing is arranged and paid for separately.
Can I complete it on my phone? You can edit the template using the Canva app on your phone, but I strongly recommend using a computer or laptop. With lots of photos, text and page layouts to personalise, editing is much faster and easier on a larger screen.
